Through July 29, 2016, the Balance Network invited proposals for activities within the themes of ‘work-life balance in the digital age’ which supported the network’s aims of collaboration and impact. Funding recipients can be found at "Balance Network Activities, September-December 2016."
These activities will form part of the network’s programme of activities between April and December 2016. We anticipate the majority of successful proposals will be under £2.5k, and we aim to fund at least one activity led by an early career researcher. Core EPSRC funding for the Balance Network runs until the end of January 2017; we are therefore particularly interested in proposals that aim to continue the legacy of the Network beyond this date. Application guidelines and the application form are available for download on this page. Please read the guidelines prior to beginning or submitting your application.
Applications can be submitted anytime up until 5pm on 29 July 2016. Applications will be approved on a rolling basis, and we aim to get back to you with the outcome of your application within six weeks of your submission. If your proposal is approved, the PI on the successful project is responsible for having a collaboration agreement signed by his/her university within one weeks of receiving the final personalised agreement. A draft version of this agreement can be downloaded below.
